Spring Event Lineup at The Veranda Brings Fun and a Good Cause to the Community
Concord, Calif. (April 13, 2023) – The Veranda, a next-generation shopping, dining and entertainment destination in Concord, California, announced an exciting lineup of events planned for the upcoming months with fun events for adults and families alike. These events include:
Whiskey & Wags, Wednesday, April 26th from 7 – 9 pm: Whiskey & Wags is a “Yappy Hour” fundraiser event for the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) which will be held at Longport Fish Co. on their outdoor patio and sponsored by State Farm Insurance Agent, Tim McGallion. Guests will enjoy a whiskey flight and scrumptious appetizers, while creating a special accessory perfect for man’s best friend and will learn about Animal Rescue Foundation’s Pet Hug Pack® program, where therapy animals bring unconditional love to people who need it most. Pets who attend will be treated to specialty dog gifts and snacks just for them and their humans will have the opportunity to enter to win a prize pack from Veranda tenants valued at over $200. Tickets to this event are available to purchase here with a percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales going to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).
Kids Club, Sunday, April 16th at 10 am: In the ongoing and ever popular Kids Club at The Veranda event series, April’s event will be a Spring Celebration. Parents and children of all ages will enjoy a Super Mario-sized petting zoo with a very magical pony, activities celebrating the arrival of spring and some surprise special guests. Attendees who purchase tickets for both the event + movie, will enjoy a special viewing of the newly released Super Mario Bros. Movie at Veranda LUXE Cinema.
Kids Club Goes to the Movies: Kicking off on May 26, The Veranda in partnership with Veranda LUXE Cinema & IMAX presents Kids Club Goes to the Movies starting with The Little Mermaid. With the purchase of an opening day movie ticket, the first 100 kids in attendance will receive a Little Mermaid themed swag bag.
