Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar, a Southern California-based family business, is opening its second Bay Area location in Concord in mid-November. And if you are a fan of perfect margaritas and tacos made from handmade, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas with sustainable meats, local produce and scratch salsas, you won't want to miss it.
On Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Concord location, at 2035 Diamond Blvd. at the Veranda, the restaurant will host a grand opening bash from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with complimentary cocktails, signature tacos and guacamole.
The eatery is a three-time winner of the People's Choice Award at LA Weekly's Tacolandia in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and deemed "Best Tacos" by San Diego Magazine year after year, according to the company.
Family-owned and operated, Puesto has garnered national acclaim for its Mexico City-style tacos made with non-GMO organic, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas, crispy melted cheese and salsas. Unique offerings include the Filet Mignon Taco and the Guacamole Nogada––made with pomegranate arils, mango, chile de arbol & candied walnuts.
The Concord event is free, but RSVP here.
